கண்ணோட்டம்

Looking for a premium maxi scooter that combines everyday practicality with highway-ready performance? The Keeway Vieste 300 2026 is designed for riders who want more comfort and power than a typical 125cc or 150cc scooter. With its liquid-cooled engine, spacious seating, and modern styling, it is a strong option for commuting and weekend rides. While still a niche model in Sri Lanka, it offers a compelling alternative to premium Japanese maxi scooters. This review combines official specifications, rider experiences from regional markets, and Sri Lankan ownership considerations to help you decide if the Vieste 300 is worth buying.

நன்மைகள்

Higher engine capacity: The international 278.2cc engine has over twice the capacity of a 125cc commuter scooter.

Useful city acceleration: Several 2022 tests reported brisk response when moving through urban traffic.

Practical cruising performance: Overseas testers reported comfortable cruising around 80 km/h, with further overtaking response available.

Long theoretical range: A 12-litre tank and tested 29.5 km/l suggest approximately 354 km between fills.

Two-wheel safety hardware: Documented versions use two disc brakes and dual-channel ABS.

தீமைகள்

Firm rear suspension: Multiple tests reported harsh responses over potholes, bumps and sharp road joints.

Limited under-seat depth: Testers reported difficulty fitting some half-face helmets beneath the seat.

Restricted taller-rider space: The footboards and fixed backrest limited movement for some testers.

Mixed finish quality: Switchgear, storage areas and several fittings received criticism during overseas testing.

Damp-road concerns: Two test units showed nervous handling or limited tyre grip in wet conditions.

out of 5

Based on published road tests and early market impressions, the Keeway Vieste 300 delivers stronger acceleration and better highway cruising ability than most smaller commuter scooters. Reviewers often highlight its brisk urban response, stable performance around 80 km/h and convenient automatic CVT. However, firm rear suspension, limited rider space and mixed wet-road feedback reduce its comfort on uneven Sri Lankan roads. The unclear local parts and warranty support also makes ownership harder to assess

Key Features & Design

Overseas reviewers generally praised the scooter’s size, angular styling and road presence. Keyless operation and its wide body support the rating. However, finish quality received mixed feedback, and Sri Lankan equipment remains unconfirmed.
