Are you looking for a five-seat double cab that can carry close to one tonne? The Mahindra Pik-Up Double Cab targets contractors, estate operators, farmers, and small businesses. It combines passenger space with an open cargo bed. Ideal Motors lists S10 and S11 versions in Sri Lanka. However, its page states no 2026 model year or current price. Buyers must verify the production year, trim, and quotation.

Mahindra Scorpio 2026

The stated payload is 995 kg. This supports equipment, agricultural goods, and commercial deliveries without requiring a separate load carrier.

The diesel engine produces 320 Nm. This output is relevant when carrying cargo or climbing hill-country roads with passengers.

Ground clearance is 210 mm. Available four-wheel drive adds value on estates, construction roads, and damaged rural surfaces.

The cargo box measures 1,489 x 1,520 x 550 mm. It retains usable load space while providing seating for five people.

The warranty is three years or 100,000 km. Authorised local distribution reduces uncertainty around warranty claims and replacement parts.

தீமைகள்

Its overall length is 5,175 mm. Tight Colombo parking areas and narrow residential access roads will require more care.

The double cab carries 100 kg less than the single cab. Its rated payload is 995 kg, compared with 1,095 kg.

Its cargo bed is 805 mm shorter than the single cab’s. Buyers prioritising load length receive 1,489 mm instead of 2,294 mm.

The verified safety package includes two airbags and ABS. The local page does not state ESC, autonomous braking, or a current crash rating.

Independent testing reports an intrusive ride over uneven roads. Steering kickback and reduced composure were also noted at higher speeds.

டிரைவரின் நுண்ணறிவுகள்

3.5
out of 5

Based on published owner feedback and independent market reviews, the Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up Double Cab is best suited to buyers who prioritise work capability over driving refinement. Its 2.2-litre diesel engine is often described as delivering useful low-speed torque for carrying loads, climbing hills, and travelling on rough roads. The double-cab layout adds passenger flexibility, but the firm unladen ride, steering feedback, and large dimensions can make it tiring in Colombo traffic. It is better viewed as a practical commercial pickup for estates, construction work, agriculture, and business use than as a comfort-focused family vehicle.

Is the Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up Double Cab officially sold in Sri Lanka?

Yes. Ideal Motors, the authorised distributor, lists the Pik-Up Double Cab in S10 and S11 forms. However, the page does not identify a 2026 model year and shows pricing as pending. Confirm the production year, trim, drivetrain, and delivery terms in writing.

Is it the same vehicle as the Scorpio-N or Global Pik Up?

What fuel economy can owners expect?

Is it suitable for daily Colombo driving?

Should buyers choose the 4x4 version?
