Special notice to all those coming to Colombo

The police say that a special security and traffic plan will be implemented with the arrival of the Iranian President to Sri Lanka tomorrow morning for the inauguration of the Uma Oya project.
Police Media Spokesperson DIG Attorney-at-Law Nihal Thalduwa said that accordingly, several roads in Colombo will be closed on several occasions tomorrow afternoon.
Accordingly, the police say that the Katunayake-Colombo Expressway will be closed tomorrow (24) from 2 to 3 pm.
The police say that there will be no opportunity for traffic on both sides of the road.
Also, from the expressway, Peliyagoda, Orugodawatte Junction, Dematagoda, Borella, D. S. Senanayake Junction, Horton Place, Horton Roundabout, Green Path, Library Roundabout, Ananda Coomaraswamy Mawatha, Liberty Roundabout, R.A. De Mal Mawatha, Shatna Michael Road, the road from Galle Road to Fort and the road from Hilton Hotel will be closed during this one-hour period.
The Colombo Lotus Roundabout will be closed after 3.30 pm and several roads from the Presidential Secretariat to Galle Road will be closed between 6 pm and 6.30 pm.
The road from Fort to the President's House will be closed again after 7.30 pm and several roads from Colombo Fort to NSA Roundabout to Galle Road will be closed after 9.30 pm.
The police further stated that steps will be taken to close the Katunayake Expressway from 9.30 pm to 10.30 pm.
Also, tomorrow morning from 9.30 am to 11 am for some time Police also say that the road from Mattala to Uma Oya will be closed in parts.
The police further state that the road will be closed again between 12 noon and 1 pm.
