Clarification on the date when driving with temporary number plates will end

The Department of Motor Vehicles has ended the problematic situation regarding the issuance of vehicle number plates and has started reissuing them.

If you have not yet paid the Department of Motor Vehicles to obtain a vehicle number plate, the department asks you to obtain it before December 15, 2024.

After December 15, 2024, it will not be possible to drive on the road using temporary number plates for vehicles and the police will enforce the law against vehicles driving using temporary number plates, the announcement states.

The department says that the permit issued to travel with the temporary number plate will also expire on December 15, 2024.
