Vehicle traffic at Kohuwala junction to be restricted for two months

Vehicle traffic at the Kohuwala Junction has been restricted for two months due to the construction of the Kohuwala Flyover.

The police say that the final phase of the construction here will be carried out from June 15, 2024 to August 15, 2024.

Accordingly, during this period, the Colombo-Horana road will be open only to public transport, and traffic on that road will be restricted to other vehicles.

The police also say that access to heavy vehicles towards the Kohuwala Junction will not be provided.

The police media spokesperson stated that they are requesting drivers to use alternative routes during this period.
