Mazda CX-70 Coming to the US in 2024

Mazda has decided to launch a new two-row mid-size SUV in the United States next year. This CX-70 vehicle was supposed to be launched this year, based on the same platform as the CX-90. So, today through MotorGuide weekly news, we bring you information about the Mazda CX-70, which is scheduled for release next year.
Currently, Mazda has launched the three-row CX-90 SUV. The CX-70 vehicle we are talking about today is designed as a two-row mid-size crossover. The CX-70 was scheduled to be released to the market by the end of this year, but Tom Donnelly, Mazda's North American CEO, told the media that this new model is expected to launch in 2024.
The CX-70 has a shorter wheelbase than the CX-90 but uses the same longitudinal-engine platform. It has been announced to the media that the CX-70 will be powered by a hybrid powertrain. The CX-90 PHEV uses a 2.5-liter inline-four gasoline engine, while the CX-90 is powered by a turbocharged 3.3-liter inline-six engine. Depending on the trim level, we can expect either 280 hp or 340 hp of power. Critics point out that all these features should also be included in the CX-70.
We are ready to provide you with more details about the Mazda CX-70 in the coming months, so stay tuned with MotorGuide.
