Tesla in Talks to Set Up a Factory in India for Electric Cars

Indian media reported that Tesla is ready to start its latest factory in India.
The world's attention has now been drawn to Tesla's next groundbreaking decision, a company that has conquered the world with electric vehicles.
Indian media reports that Tesla has discussed bringing a factory to India, based on the ease of exporting its vehicles.
Analysts believe that this could also have a significant impact on the Indian automobile market.
These discussions between Tesla and the Indian government reflect the growing interest of international automobile manufacturers in India's electric vehicles market. India is actively promoting the use of electric vehicles to minimize environmental pollution and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. The government has also implemented various programs and incentives to attract investments in the electric vehicle sector and develop the necessary infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Reuters reported that a car produced through this new Tesla factory is planned to be sold for approximately 2 million Indian Rupees (US $24,400.66), foreign media reports.
That is approximately 7.5 million Sri Lankan Rupees.
