Toyota EPU Concept Ready to Become an Electric Pickup Truck

Toyota has decided to create a new concept called the Toyota EPU, or Toyota electric truck. It is being designed as an electric pickup. Toyota has decided to unveil this vehicle at the Tokyo Auto Show.
The EPU vehicle, prepared for display at the Tokyo Auto Show, is designed as a 199.6-inch long, four-door crew-cab pickup. However, designers report that it is smaller than a Tacoma.
However, Toyota has not yet released any technical details about this new vehicle to the media. But we can assume it will run on an electric platform. The vehicle's wheelbase is quite long, approximately 131.9 inches. In short, many people have expressed the opinion that the exterior design of the vehicle will look normal without any odd concepts.
If we talk about its interior, the design plans lean towards a somewhat futuristic approach. Some of its features include large display screens, a minimalist dashboard, and a yoke-style steering wheel.
However, this new EPU Concept is significantly different from the mid-size electric truck concept Toyota showed a few years ago. That model looked more similar to the new 2024 Tacoma, and we can also assume that Toyota might be planning multiple electric trucks.
