Thirteen Post Offices Open at Night for Traffic Fine Payments

The Department of Posts states that arrangements have been made for post offices with night services in the Colombo and Kalutara districts to accept traffic fine receipts during the night.
This is implemented as a pilot project to expand service delivery.
Deputy Inspector General of Police H.A.K. Indika Hapugoda, in charge of Traffic Control and Road Safety, stated that the following post offices have been arranged to remain open 24 hours a day with night services.

- Havelock Town
- Wellawatta
- Borella
- Kotahena
- Battaramulla
- Nugegoda
- Dehiwala
- Mount Lavinia
- Moratuwa
- Panadura
- Kalutara
- Seethawakapura
