Traffic to Be Restricted at Kohuwala Junction for Two Months

Due to the construction of the Kohuwala flyover, vehicular traffic at the Kohuwala junction has been restricted for a period of two months.
The police state that the final phase of this construction will take place from June 15, 2024, to August 15, 2024.
Accordingly, during this period, the Colombo - Horana road will be open only for public transport, and traffic for other vehicles on that road will be restricted.
The police further state that heavy vehicles will not be allowed access towards the Kohuwala junction.
The Police Media Spokesperson mentioned that drivers are requested to use alternative routes during this period.
