University of Moratuwa Showcases Next formula Student E Race car

Moratuwa, Sri Lanka - The Engineering Faculty Auditorium at the University of Moratuwa was abuzz with excitement as Team FalconE Racing officially revealed their second-generation electric vehicle, the "Drive X24," to a distinguished audience of industry leaders and automotive enthusiasts.

The highly anticipated design reveal event, held on September 4th, 2024, marked a significant milestone for the university's innovative student racing team. Attended by the esteemed Cars Guide Team as distinguished guests, the occasion offered a glimpse into the future of sustainable mobility.

The unveiling of the team's new electric race car, dubbed the "E2," was the centerpiece of the event. The E2 reveal, the event also highlighted the team's recent achievements with their first-generation electric vehicle, the "E1." Team FalconE shared insights into the advancements made, the challenges overcome, and the valuable lessons learned through their inaugural electric racing endeavor.

The event also unveiled the team's rebranding efforts, the launch of their official website, and the exciting announcement of their AI-powered Driverless Initiative, further solidifying the University of Moratuwa's position as a leader in the field of electric vehicle technology and autonomous driving.
