Overview

Are you looking for a scooter that can handle Colombo traffic without sitting as low as a basic commuter? The 2025 Honda ADV160 targets riders wanting automatic convenience, practical storage and adventure-style bodywork. Sri Lankan units appear to be independently imported, while the source market is not stated consistently. Buyers should verify the frame code, exact equipment, warranty provider and parts support before purchase.

Honda ADV160 2025 Price in Sri Lanka

The Honda ADV160 2025 is priced at Rs 500,000 – 610,000 in Sri Lanka. Final price may vary by dealer, so please confirm with your dealer before buying.

Pros

The Japanese KF54 has 165mm ground clearance. This reduces contact risk on damaged road edges.

Its 29-litre storage compartment may reduce daily dependence on an aftermarket top box.

The 8.1-litre tank supports useful range between fuel stops. Actual range depends on traffic and riding style.

Its 780mm seat is 15mm lower than the previous ADV150 figure stated by Honda.

A regional manual specifies RON 91 or higher. Sri Lankan 92-octane petrol meets that minimum.

Cons

The ADV160 is absent from Honda Sri Lanka’s published two-wheeler range. Agent-backed warranty cannot be assumed.

ABS operates only on the front wheel. The rear brake has no anti-lock function.

The Japanese reference model weighs 136kg. Parking and low-speed manoeuvres may require added effort.

Regional owners report less performance reserve above normal urban speeds. Fast overtaking is not its main strength.

Source-market differences affect specifications, equipment and documentation. Buyers must identify the exact imported version.

Driver Insights

3.5
out of 5

Based on regional owner feedback and published road tests, the Honda ADV160 offers responsive performance for urban riding from its 156cc engine. Riders often highlight its upright seating position, automatic transmission, useful storage and higher ground clearance as advantages in daily traffic. However, the suspension can feel firm over damaged roads, while performance becomes less convincing at higher speeds. It is best suited to riders who prioritise city practicality, fuel economy and scooter convenience over long-distance speed and soft ride comfort.

Key Features & Design

Regional owners often praise the upright stance, adjustable screen and adventure-style bodywork. Sri Lankan buyers may value the storage and clearance, although imported equipment can differ.
