3.5
out of 5
Based on feedback from Sri Lankan owners and early market observations, the 2025 Honda BR-V is generally perceived as a practical and easy-to-drive 7-seater rather than a performance-focused SUV. Drivers often describe it as feeling closer to a raised MPV than a traditional SUV, with light steering and predictable handling that suit daily Colombo traffic. Local user discussions highlight its smooth CVT operation in stop-go conditions and overall driving ease, but also point out limited power when fully loaded. The BR-V is commonly seen as a functional family vehicle built for reliability, school runs, and moderate-distance travel rather than spirited driving.

Exterior Design
Based on Sri Lankan buyer feedback, the BR-V presents a more SUV-like stance than older MPV-based options. The higher ride height and sharper front design improve road presence. However, it still lacks the visual bulk and width some buyers expect at this price point.
