Bajaj Auto Limited is an Indian multinational automobile manufacturer headquartered in Pune. The company produces a range of vehicles, including motorcycles, scooters, and three-wheelers, and operates under the umbrella of the Bajaj Group. Founded in the 1940s by Jamnalal Bajaj in Rajasthan, Bajaj Auto has continued to innovate and expand its product lineup year after year. According to recent reports, Bajaj is preparing to launch an exciting new addition to its lineup in early 2024.

Upcoming Model – 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS200

Bajaj Auto is all set to introduce an updated version of the Pulsar NS200 in the domestic market. The company has released a teaser video highlighting the bike’s upcoming technological advancements and feature upgrades. While most of the improvements will focus on performance and functionality, the 2024 NS200 is expected to retain much of its signature Pulsar design language that fans have come to love.

Modern Features and Design Upgrades

As revealed in the official video, the 2024 Pulsar NS200 will receive a range of modern updates:

  • A new digital instrument cluster with improved visibility and information display.
  • A redesigned LED headlamp with integrated LED daytime running lights (DRLs).
  • Potential new features such as Bluetooth connectivity, incoming call and message alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation.

Engine and Performance

Under the hood, the 2024 Pulsar NS200 will continue to use its 199.5cc single-cylinder engine—a reliable and proven unit known for its performance. The engine delivers 24 BHP at 9,750 RPM and 19 Nm of torque at 8,000 RPM, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. This powertrain setup provides a balanced combination of speed, responsiveness, and fuel efficiency, ideal for both city commutes and spirited rides.

Suspension and Handling

The NS200’s handling and suspension system are expected to remain largely unchanged, offering the same stability and comfort that riders appreciate. The bike will continue to feature:

  • Upside-down (USD) front forks for improved handling and comfort.
  • Monoshock rear suspension for better stability during cornering and high-speed riding.
  • Disc brakes on both front and rear wheels for superior braking performance and control.

Expected Launch and Market Outlook

With these updates, the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is expected to appeal to both new riders and long-time Pulsar fans. Its blend of modern features, powerful engine, and reliable handling makes it a strong contender in the premium commuter segment. The launch is anticipated in the early months of 2024, with pricing details to be announced closer to the release date.
