However, if the engine continues to run without stalling, or takes a while to stop, it clearly shows that your clutch plate is worn and slipping.
The Bad Habit of 'Clutch Riding'
When driving in heavy traffic on our roads, many drivers have the habit of keeping their foot resting on the clutch pedal. We call this 'Clutch Riding'. Constantly keeping pressure on the clutch like this causes the clutch plate to wear out unnecessarily and drastically reduces its lifespan.
