So what exactly is the process
Visit the Department of Motor traffic website through one of your devices. Filter your selection and select either western province or the relevant province you live in.
Then proceed to choose your language selection depending on your preference. If you have any other issues moving forward contact the department of motor traffic at 1919.To proceed you'll need to login with a google account, so sign up. Then in the proceeding interface choose license renewal option. Continue with the vehicle registration number.
You will be redirected in this case where you will have to enter your current revenue license number and your vehicle chassis number. After this step the website will continue to show the details relevant to the original owner listing their name and residential address. Keep in mind that these will be listed to the original owner in the case of open papers.
It will proceed to show you the availability to renew your revenue license.Before you move on check which date you revenue license expires.
Use the portal to upload your emissions test and proof insurance and continue to the government paywall. Choose your payment method and verify your payment.
What is this temporary revenue license
Once you have successfully submitted your details you will receive a reference and this is highly important as this is your reference until you get a physical copy of your revenue license. Continue to print the digital copy which you will also receive in email.You can use this as your temporary revenue license until you receive a physical copy as it includes all the information that is present within the original document.
