Micro Cars Limited throwing hands in the EV market with their new SsangYong KGM Torres EVX

Micro Cars Limited has thrown their gloves into the EV market with the introduction of the new Ssangyong KGM Torres EVX at the Sirimavo Bandaranayake exhibition center during the 2024 EV Motor show held on the 28th,29th, and the 30th of June 2024.

The event was held in the presence of the Transport Minister, Hon. Bandula Gunawardana, The CEO and Chairman of Micro Cars Limited Mr. Lawrence Perera, MIcro Cars Limited Group Director Mr. Asela Lihinikaduwa, Chief Financial officer Mr. Janaka Herath, Head of Sales and Marketing Mr.Jacob Nishanthan and General Manager MR. Prshan Perera along with other esteemed guests

The Torres EVX stands tall with its claims to be an off-road vehicle all the while being an EV making it unique. The 3 in 1 EV drive train coupled with a 152.2 Kw motor delivers its power to the wheels with an e-gear system. The car is certainly capable of covering several yardsticks claiming a 461 Km range from a 28 min. rapid charge cycle. All this is powered by a 73 Kwhr Lithium-ion battery capable of holding a higher charge for longer periods of time.The Torres EVX comes with a 500 KM + range as well as an industries first 1millon km or 10 year warranty for the battery (terms and conditions apply)

Safety has not been overlooked in the Torres with it's 8 airbags in place and not compromising on features such as Multi Collision Braking system and trailer assist stability making this a truly capable off-roader on paper
