Sri Lanka's Supercar VEGA Gets Registration

The 'Vega' motor car, fully manufactured in the country, has received approval from the Department of Motor Traffic.
Accordingly, this will be recorded in history as the first instance of a motor car fully manufactured in the country being registered.
The registration number plate for the first Vega motor car was issued by the Minister of Transport and Highways recently.
The Origin of the Vega Motor Car You Didn't Know
CodeGen International, a computer software manufacturing company, started the production of the Vega motor car in 2014. All these activities took place under the knowledge, supervision, and leadership of Dr. Harsha Subasinghe, Chairman and CEO of CodeGen International, the parent company of Vega Innovations.
A special feature of the Vega motor car, which falls into the super car category, is that all its parts and software are designed and manufactured within Sri Lanka.
The company states that the Vega can be driven at a maximum speed of 240 kilometers per hour and can travel a maximum distance of 240 kilometers after a single battery charge.
In addition to this car, CodeGen International has also manufactured a three-wheeler and an electric motorcycle.
