Vauxhall Bringing Back the Frontera Name for a New SUV

Vauxhall has decided to reuse the Frontera name for the chunky compact SUV that will replace the Crossland later this year. The new Frontera will be larger than the Crossland, and Vauxhall has also decided to introduce an electric powertrain option for it.
However, the original Frontera was Vauxhall's version of the Isuzu MU, a mid-size SUV that competed with the Land Rover Freelander, sold for two generations from 1991 to 2004. The first Vauxhall SUV designed in Luton was available as a traditional five-door model and also in a short-wheelbase, two-door format.
However, the new Frontera is designed as a five-door, five-seater. Vauxhall states the reason for this design is to allow customers with active lifestyles and the whole family to use the vehicle. It also offers functional features and good space.
According to current indications, the Dacia Duster has been named as a direct competitor to the new Frontera. Vauxhall has promised to offer the new Frontera at an attractive price. Current reports suggest its price is likely to start from £20,000.
So, this is the story of the Frontera, which Vauxhall is creating as a replacement for the Crossland. We will bring you the latest information from the automotive world through Weekly News.
