Vehicle Revenue Permits Update — Minister
The State Minister of Technology stated that people will be able to obtain vehicle revenue licenses from home starting October 07.
Addressing a press conference yesterday (02), he stated that this facility can be availed by people in all provinces except those in the Western Province.
"We have now launched the program to provide vehicle revenue licenses through online service. From October 07, anyone in any province can go to the Motor Traffic Department website and obtain their vehicle revenue license online. In the first month, the Western Province is not yet included. The other 8 provinces are ready."
Meanwhile, the issuance of vehicle revenue licenses in the Western Province, which was temporarily suspended, has recommenced.
Accordingly, vehicle revenue licenses expiring from September 26 can be renewed without penalty until October 10.
