Yamaha Partners with Lola Cars to Develop and Supply Formula E Powertrains

Two years ago, IMSA competitor Till Bechtolsheimer acquired the popular British racing manufacturer, Lola company. The company spent the last two years rebuilding the brand before returning to the racing world. This eventually resulted in a new power-train partnership with Yamaha in Formula E.
It was first reported last Tuesday that Bechtolsheimer's Lola would join the electric racing championship. The deal was confirmed last Thursday, with several crucial details about the partnership with Yamaha being reported. It is mentioned that when Lola and Yamaha team up for next year's season 11, they expect to supply a powertrain-needing team, similar to Abt team, which was Audi's factory partner.
It is also mentioned that Lola-Yamaha will join Stellantis, Porsche, Mahindra, Jaguar, and the Electric Racing Technologies team in building powertrains. Nissan, which supplies power to both its factory team and McLaren's operation, has announced that it plans to remain with the series until at least 2030.
In its early days, Lola produced cars that competed in sports car and open-wheel racing events worldwide.
So, this is how Lola, together with Yamaha, will build Formula E Power-trains.
