Alef Electric Flying Car Approved by US Government

Flying cars are something we saw in films and cartoons when we were kids. However, the history of producing motor vehicles that can fly goes beyond the creation of movies and cartoons. Because the first light aircraft was created in 1909 by an American named Waldo Waterman. But even though it was called a light aircraft, it was a glider.
Anyway, in 1929, the “Whatsit” aircraft, which was technologically superior to its predecessors, was created. However, this was designed without the long tail section found in conventional aircraft. So, this concept is what inspired the creation of flying cars. Today, MotorGuide brings you the story of the world's first approved flying car in the United States, which turned a dream into reality.
Alef Aeronautics' flying car has succeeded in obtaining legal approval from the American government. It is the world's first approved flying car in the United States.
According to Aero Law Center, an aviation law firm, the car company has announced that it has received a special airworthiness certificate from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Foreign media further report that this is the first time such a vehicle has been certified in the United States.
Alef Aeronautics' flying car operates on 100% electric power. Moreover, this vehicle has the capability to carry one or two people.
Alef Aeronautics states that it is actively working on its policies these days to control the interaction between the car's takeoff and landing and ground infrastructure.
It is reported that the car costs approximately $300,000 due to its ability to fly above parked traffic and accidents.
Alef Aeronautics has announced that it expects to begin delivering flying cars to customers by the end of 2025. So, in two years, let's see what it feels like to fly in the sky in a car.
