Documents required to re-obtain a vehicle license
When your revenue license is lost, you will need several documents to get a new one. Accordingly, for the vehicle:

- Vehicle fitness certificate
- Vehicle emission test certificate

What needs to be done?
The first thing you need to do is report the loss of the vehicle license to the police. After that, you need to take this police complaint and the other necessary documents to the Divisional Secretariat office. After going to the Divisional Secretariat office, you will be given a form. You need to fill this form completely and correctly. On this form, you need to fill in:
- Vehicle number
- Vehicle owner's name
- Vehicle engine number
- Date the revenue license was lost
- Vehicle chassis number
- Police station where the complaint was made
- Date of complaint
- Vehicle owner's name
Once you fill in this information correctly and submit it, you can obtain a new revenue license in place of the lost or damaged one.
