The 50% surcharge imposed from May 15, based on vehicle import taxes, has been further extended until December 31, 2026, the Finance Ministry announced.
Accordingly, the extension will apply from tomorrow (15) until December 31, 2026.
The extension has been made under the powers vested in the President under Section 10A of the Customs Ordinance (Chapter 235), as amended by Act No. 83 of 1988.
